Cozy, Nubby, Chunky Farmhouse Pillows in All Budgets!

, ,

Hey friends!
After scoring some yummy nubby, textured, neutral throw pillows at HomeGoods, I thought I’d put together a little shop post if you too like to layer up textured neutrals for your winter decor!  That’s my standard approach to the whites and greys of the winter season, and the layered neutrals still bring in so much visual interest…minus the happy clutter that just came down from Christmas.  Simple, neutral colors but with lots of texture and visual interest, and the easiest way to achieve that look on a budget is through adding a few throw pillows!  Rounded up some of my faves (number 6 is the one I found at HomeGoods on IG stories today,  and I was excited to find it online for ya, too!)

Hope these types of round up posts are helpful to you, and if you end up snagging one of these nubby, chunky beauties, tag me on Instagram!  I’d love to see how you styled them, buddies!  If we can’t actually all go shopping together in person, this is the next best thing. 😉

Thanks for the sources! I found some neutral, nubby pillow covers at Hobby Lobby this morning! Only around $25!

Hi Erin, LOVIN’ the pillows…I may tackle making a few actually…have a fabulous fabric store an hour from here and I saw nubby fabric :). Question…I’m ‘considering’ leaving up a few of my 2′ flocked ornamental trees from Christmas because well, it’s always snowing here in PA and I’ve had a white landscape now for 3 weeks! While I probably won’t plug them in, the flocked look looks awesome for winter decor. I also have these awesome wooden deer, birch logs from Magnolia and will stick some live white pine branches (which I’ve had up since Christmas so I need to go cut fresh ones) in with the logs. What do you think about the flocked tree idea? Hubby loved the idea of keeping them up. Thanks

Hi Erin! I have really enjoyed reading about you and seeing your beautiful home over the last few weeks! I would like to begin changing my home over to this style with lots of neutrals throughout. Do you follow any kind of guideline when looking/buying for decor when it comes to shades of neutrals? Pure white? Cream? Off white, tan? Is anything game or are there certain combos that complement each other better? I hope that makes since. Thank you!
