Spring Wreath Installation Wall – Using Embroidery Hoops as Decor

, ,

Y’all.  This project.
🌿❤️🌿
This might be one of my favorites yet!  The inspiration behind this installation came from those gauzy, draping, flowing hoop bed canopies (think: mosquito net…but pretty. 😉)  While I didn’t really want the actual netting over our bed (can you imagine the calamity with all the kitties…?! 🙀), I did want to recreate that flow, that feeling of romantic drape-i-ness.  I wanted….something?…to fill this very very long wall in our bedroom, but I wanted it to be a little, well, weird.  If we haven’t met yet, hi.  I’m Erin. 🙋🏻 I like weird crap. 😂  It’s a fun game to try and come up with an idea without ever looking for it, and for me, this wreath wall installation scratched that itch for me and got my creative juices a’flowin!

For this space, I wanted something that gave a pop of fresh spring greens without overwhelming the space, and yet…I wanted it to make a statement.  I love me a statement wall (as my Instagram buddies know…😉), and so, in order to not completely overwhelm our bedroom, I choose these simple, open, minimalistic embroidery hoops as the base of each wreath.  We’ve seen this hoop wreath concept a few times lately, so I wanted to step it up one more notch and create a hanging wall o’ wreaths, all with simple, minimalistic sprigs of greenery.

Simple concept.
Big impact.
Keepin’ it weird….just the way I like it.
🌿😉🌿

Hey, question!!  Would you like me to do a DIY tutorial on this wreath wall…?  I’m thinking about it, so let me know in the comments 👇🏻 if you’d like to see something like that soon!
