Hey, sweet friends! π·
Ignore my nerdy pose and let’s talk Easter dresses! I’ll let you in on a little capsule wardrobe secret: I let myself cheat when it comes time for Easter. Shhhhhh, don’t tell the die-hards!! π While buying new clothes is most certainly not even close to what Easter means for me and my family, I do look at it as part of the traditional fun of the holiday, much like Christmas lights in December or fireworks for the 4th. None of these material things are the REASON for the holiday, but they sure do add to the fun, the festivity, the memories! That’s how I look at taking me and my girls Easter dress shopping. So far, they all want to match along with Mommy (be still my HEART π), and we have such fun spending that time together each year! Plus, it’s a little boost to the capsule wardrobe when I know I’ll get to inject a bit of springtime fun in the form of a new Easter dress. π·
Above is my pick for this year! This dress is comfortable, flowy in the midsection, modest in the top section, and it can easily be paired with a denim jacket or light sweater should the weather get chilly that Sunday. I didn’t spend much on this lovely piece, and so I’ve rounded up a few more flowy, feminine and AFFORDABLE beauts in case you are in the market for a little Easter dress fun! All sources are linked below!
I love that these dresses are all pretty forgiving on the mommy lady lumpage in the midsection π, plus the feminine florals and flowing fabrics just speak to me this season. πΈπ·πΏ At the time of writing, none of these dresses were over $50, so let me know which one is your favorite in the comments below! Check out more spring outfit inspo over on my Pinterest page, and come say hi on Instagram, too! ππ»
I hope you’ll do a blog post about disguising the mommy lady lumpage in a bathing suit. I tried on a bikini today, and I think that ship has sailed.
Bahaha, I hear you! I actually have one written up that is tentatively titled, "Mom Flub and How to Disguise It"…π
I don’t see the source for the one you have on?? Did I miss it? Looks great on you!
Hi Donna, the dress I’m wearing was out of stock at time of posting, but I just checked this morning, and it’s back! I added it as the first link at the bottom of the post. π
You look better in that dress than the model in the ad on old navy’s website! Cute π
