I feel like I miss so many questions here, over on Instagram, in DM’s and emails, on Facebook….gah! 😩 I mean, we all have life to live outside of social media, and I feel strongly that we shouldn’t apologize for not being available 24/7…BUT!  I don’t like to leave you buddies hanging either. 💗 So…let’s try this!  At the end of the week, I’ll round up what’s been going on in Cotton Stem land, and…I’ll choose some of the most frequently asked questions of the week or maybe some quirky or personal Q’s, too!  I’ll post all the answers on the blog so y’all can catch up!  #CottonStemCatchUps…next one comin’ atcha!

Crazy how the Internet brings people together that would have never met otherwise, and this week, I got to meet one of my best friends that I met through Instagram…Holly @ourfauxfarmhouse!  Love this girl.  Check out her stunner house [HERE]! 🙀  She’s amazeballs.  Big time.

FAQ’s FROM THIS WEEK:

1. What do your tattoos represent?
Growing up, I lived with my mom and little sister, and we were known as The Hart Girls (my maiden name).  This stuck and carried on with us through adulthood, and now I have four tiny “Hart girls” of my own.  💗  I thought it was a sweet little way to commemorate my past, my present and my future.  (Also…I’m way behind on getting heart #4…oopsie!! 😉)

2. Where did you find all those lemons and were they pricey?
Amazon, baby!!  I think all of the lemons in all of the house only set me back about $30-40, and I’ll link my sources below for ya!

3. Where did you get those aviators you wear in stories?
Another cheapo depot alert: Target!  I can’t buy pricey sunnies right now, because the kiddos break all the things eventually 😑, so Target to the rescue.  Also, I think my ears are crooked, because EVERY pair of sunnies I’ve ever bought sits crooked on my face!  I’m wonky, guys!! 😂

4. Why are you trying to find a different dining table when you have a pretty one already?
The honest truth?  I don’t love the one we have, it was a VERY cheap DIY project, and…I’ve been on the hunt for a vintage table that gets me in the feels for quite awhile now off and on.  I’ve never found what was in my heart/mind while just casually looking, so, while we were kidless, hubby and I day-dated and antique shopped all around in search of a true vintage treasure.  We’ll eventually sell the one we have to help pay for the new one we find, and I’ll keep you posted on the table hunt next week! 🙌🏻
