(This post is a partnership with Sole Society and includes some affiliate links – thanks for supporting the brands that support this blog o’ mine, y’all!)

Okay, so I’ve been shopping for an affordable straw bag for summer, and right after I bought the first option, Sole Society sent over a second option for me to try…so!  I narrowed it down to these two that I absolutely love (plus a bonus straw bag for the swimming pool thrown in for good measureπŸ˜‰).  I knew that I wanted a circle shape that was large enough for allllllll the Mommin’ things, and these two affordable cuties fit the bill!  Keeping the one from Sole Society, but I’ll show ya why I liked them both!

This is the Jalea Tote straw bag from Sole Society, and I’ve just got one hyphenated word for ya: cross-body.  This mama of four LOVES me a good cross-body bag, because…ta da!  Hands free for all the needs of all my tinies!  I like the size on this one (not too big, not too small), the long cognac strap is adjustable, and I like that you can change it up easily from cross-body to tote bag by just tucking in the vegan leather strap.  Only item not on my wish list would be an interior pocket, but dadgum…that strap does it for this mama!  πŸ˜‰

(That’s the face of a wife listening to her “photographer” husband make innapropiate cat calls trying to make her laugh mid-picture sesh.  πŸ˜‘  Don’t worry.  I got him back at the end of this post….. 😏)

Affordable straw bag option number two is this cutie!  It wins on the interior pockets sitch, but the straps were too short for a quick slap-my-purse-on-my-shoulder-and-run-out-the-door, and it was a little on the big side for me.  It almost feels more like a beach bag due to its oversized nature and is going back (can’t beat that cross-body option up above), but it was also a dang cute option!

And as a little bonus, here’s what I snagged for our family pool bag!  Loved the fun pom tassels and oversized structure, and it’s chic without being fussy.  That’s a win when hoisting a hoard of tinies all around the pool.  πŸ˜‰  Today we fit in this cute straw bag: four beach towels, a huge bottle of sunscreen, extra swim diapers, two large bags of GF pretzels, and coverups for a family of six!  We used this on vacation recently too, and it’s proven to be quite the workhorse for sunny days by the pool. β˜€

Hope this was a fun little side-by-side comparison for some affordable straw bag options for your summer closet…which one is your fave?!  Have you ventured into the straw bag craze this season?  And….as promised…see revenge below:

Mmmmuuuuuaaaaahhhhaaaahhaaaaa!!!
I’d asked him to stand in the place I was going to stand for the photo so I could set it up, hop in the shot and make things easy for him, and THIS is what I got. πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‚  He thinks he’s soooooo funny!!  And really…he is. πŸ˜‰ Love that guy o’ mine.  (But hopefully this’ll teach him to quit tryna make me laugh during this already uncomfortable “photo shoots” in our backyard, gah! πŸ˜‚)
