Hi, friends! I wanted to try out some new polish colors for spring, so I thought I’d share. My favorite brand is Essie (not sponsored, just love it), and I like the gel version. You don’t actually need an LED light though; you just get the glossy finish like a gel manicure without a trip the salon or the use of a light. The polish usually lasts me over a week before chips appear, and I really like the creamy, milky neutral hues they offer. Here are 5 neutral pink nail polish colors to try for spring (plus my quick little at-home mani routine)!
First, I use a cuticle remover gel. This softens up my cuticles so I can GENTLY push them back before carefully trimming away the dead skin. If you caught my Instagram stories today (HERE), you’ll know that my very favorite nail clippers are the teeny baby ones from when our 11 year old was a newborn. 😆 They are so easy to use and I can really get in there and trim bc they are so tiny. Don’t judge. I love them, ha! After my polish is dry, I finish with this cuticle serum from Olive and June to restore moisture! Be sure to grab the Essie Gel topcoat — I’ve tried using other topcoats with the Essie Gel polishes, and it just doesn’t last quite as long.

Pre-Show Jitters
Buttoned and Buffed
Lace Me Up
Tailor Made with Love
At the Barre
Pre-Show Jitters: a soft, milky white with a pretty pink undertone (my fave!)
Buttoned and Buffed: a light, opaque neutral that leans pink (second fave!)
Lace Me Up: very similar in undertones to Pre-Show Jitters but more pink, reads like a subtle baby pink
Tailor Made With Love: this reads like a nude mixed with light mauve (probably my least favorite but only bc it looks a little off up against my particular skin tone)
At the Barre: a darker, deeper version of Button and Buffed (the product pic does not look the same in person, it looks way more pink online!)
