Without further ado, here’s the dining room fall look this year! A new rug from Well Woven Rugs [HERE] came just in time to tie all this yummy navy and pale grey/blue together (this rug is the Ciato Blue Vintage 8×10). It’s so so soft, it doesn’t shed, and you guys will flip at the prices….AND they are offering y’all 30% off ANY size of rug using the coupon code: COTTONSTEM ππ»π How awesome is that?
As I shared on Instagram, what’s a vintage harvest table over 150 years old without a harvest?! A PUMPKIN harvest, that is, complete with antique copper “pumpkins,” to boot! When I was dreaming up this year’s fall looks, I was not only inspired by the ceramic white and navy handles on my vintage copper pots, which led to the navy and copper combo, but I was also intrigued by the history of our “new” dining room table. The previous owner’s family passed it down for generations over 150 years, and it was legit used as a harvest table…hence the term! The family would bring in the season’s crops, dump them on the table to be chopped and sorted, and you can see all of the knife marks and scuffs all over the table top. It’s just full of history, so I wanted to sort of emulate the feel of a pumpkin harvest, trailing vines and all. β€οΈ Y’all know I love vintage pieces with a story, and it thrills me to no end to know the history of this harvest table. π
This copper and navy fall decor look wouldn’t have come together without the help of Caroline from Papercase Studio and her adorable hand-lettered pumpkins [HERE] and gourd place cards [HERE]! She and I had been dreaming up this concept for months, and it was so exciting to put her pumpkins and place cards on the fall table and on the vintage mantle. Totally finished out the room! Check out her adorable Etsy shop along with the limited edition navy Cotton Stem Pumpkin [HERE]!!
Throw in a chippy door, that sweet farmhouse wood sign from The Found Cottage, a couple of custom blue pumpkin pillows from Porter Lane Home [HERE], plus a very fitting sign above the fireplace from Dry Land Decor…and the room is complete and ready for the coming of fall. Think cooler temps will arrive quicker now that the INside of the house feels like autumn has arrived…? π
Appreciate you guys stopping by, and let me know what you think of the pumpkin “harvest” concept and all the rest down below in the comments! Love chatting with you here as I can. You guys make this a happy place! π

It looks beautiful. I love the rich copper and navy tones with the cooler blues.
Thanks so much, Jackie! Just saw your gorgeous table–love it!
Stunning!! Maybe I over looked it but where are the leaf plates from? Loving the copper– do u think the copper would look ok if I have grey tones in my home? I love it I just didn’t know if it would look good with the cooler color.
Those came from the Target dollar spot but I couldn’t find a link! I think copper looks good with grey!
Amazing as always!! I would love to have you come so my house!!

Thanks so much, Betsy! π
Gorgeous!!! Love this! Do you have a shiplap tutorial? Love the way yours turned out π
I don’t actually, but this is just pine underlayment cut into 8in strips and we didn’t use spacers to create a really rustic look!
Gurrrll! You are so talented!! I love the blues and the coppers and the vines! And that table!!! Oh my! It’s beautiful! And love the history behind as well! What a great find!
That was my favorite thing about finding that table! Love knowing the history behind these vintage pieces. Appreciate you stopping by, Misty!
Love your home! What color stain did you use on the shutters in your dining room?
Those are just natural cedar actually!
I love your style! I appreciate your honesty when it comes to your posts and blog in regards to having kiddos, and that the house isn’t always perfect 24/7. Oh, and thank you for not decorating with all white, too much of that on IG lol π! β€οΈ
I love to style a space as IF the kids/kittens won’t zoom in and mess with all the things. Snap a pic or two…and then move a few things around to make it a bit more kid-friendly. π Hey, a girl can dream, right?! π
Looks amazing…I love the rug!! Just trying to figure out what all colors are in it. I just bought a light gray sofa anf I’m in desperate need for a new rug
This is a mix of really pale grey/blue as a base with a mix of creamy white, and then it has two vintage star burst looking sections that have a really deep dark teal, almost navy in places. It’s seriously the colors on my table!
Love it all! But that table and the history is something to be cherished.
I know, I absolutely love knowing it’s story!
Lovely! I have a gray and white living room with copper as my metal. I’ve added touches of turquoise for summer but now adding navy and light green for fall. Funny how the Target π― Dollar spot had the same idea for colors this season. Love your blog.
We all must be feelin’ the same vibes!!
This looks very, very nice!
Well thank you! Come see it in person soon!
It’s beautiful Erin! You’re so talented! Where did you get your greenery? It looks nicer than the stuff that my Hob Lob carries. I’ve been in search of some good greenery!
It’s actually all from Hobby Lobby! Won’t let me link stuff from there at the bottom, so I tried to find other similar options.
Oh Erin, I love it! My favorite element is the cascading vines – to die for!
Oh thank you! I was picturing trailing pumpkin vines!
Where did you get your navy napkins from?
Target!
Love your style π May I ask where you got your white metal chairs from?
Those are from Amazon!
Looks beautiful!! I’m sorry if you’ve mentioned this before, but from where is that beautiful chandelier? I’ve actually taken a screenshot of it from one of your stories because I love it!!
