I love me some skinny jeans, don’t get me wrong. But as we approach warmer weather, I need my stems to breathe a bit! 😉 Loving the straight leg denim currently, because it gives shape in the booty but is more relaxed in the leg. I was so used to wearing skinny jeans only that it has taken some time to find looks that I like using straight leg denim, and here are a few of my favorites all styled with pieces from my spring capsule wardrobe [HERE].

Spring Layers:

Layers in the spring weather are key, and I love the stripes and army green jacket combo! Slide on some leather slides, and I’m good to go.

Date/Girl’s Night Out:

I like the contrast of a more relaxed denim + heels + structured jacket. It’s comfy yet stylish, classic and clean, and it’s made for my new favorite date night outfit for the last few months!

Mommin’ So Hard:

Let’s be real. This is what I wear most of the time (when I’m not in leggings…), and when we mom so hard, we need to be SO comfortable, too! Straight leg denim is relaxed and easy, especially paired with a lightweight sweatshirt and white sneakers for chasing after kiddos all day. 😉

Classic and Simple:

Best white button down ever + comfortable heels + straight leg denim = a classic capsule wardrobe staple I can dress up or down and add a layer for chilly spring mornings!

Current Airport Uniform:

I’ve been traveling a bit more lately, and this combo has quickly become my favorite airport uniform. The relaxed jeans don’t cramp my legs during the flight, the side on shoes are quick at the airport security stop, and my oversized cardigan makes everything just a bit more cozy while traveling away from home!
