Come Shopping With Me – Best Pre-Black Friday Sales with Old Navy!

, , , , , ,

Hey guys!
Okay, I asked y’all this morning on my Instagram stories if you’d like to come shopping with me today as I scouted out some additions to my winter wardrobe at the pre-Black Friday Old Navy sales, and of the 15K+ that voted, 98% were ready to go on a girls’ day out and SHOP. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป  You guys are so fun.  I’ll tell ya what.  If we can’t shop together in person, this is the next best thing!  Check out my Fitting Room Faves below, and, if you’d like to see these looks on video, be sure to zoom over and watch my IG stories before they expire!  These prices are soooo crazy good!!

(Note: for size reference and fit, I’m about 5’8″/5’9″ and wear a S or M in tops and a 4/6 in bottoms.)

I’ve had my eye on these oversized, thick and cozy cardigans for a bit, and when the sale hit, I had to try them on in person!  Loved this marled grey paired with a soft pink velvet tank and skinnies.  This cardigan seriously is surprisingly nice to have come from Old Navy–I was shocked!  Loved it.  I needed the SMALL in this one!  I grabbed the MEDIUM in the tank, and the jeans and shoes fit TTS.

coat (sold out, linking another option) | sweater | jeans | boots

SO sad this coat is sold out in grey online, and I’m not surprised: I’ve been trying to snag one for months!  They keep selling out.  The green and black are in stock and I also linked another cute option in grey.  I grabbed a SMALL.

I just snagged this sweater on the way to the dressing room for something to wear under the coat, and I ended up LOVING it.  It isn’t one of those icky scratchy sweaters….so so so soft.  I grabbed the MEDIUM for a little bit of a looser fit, and I love the wide ribbing and the black and white stripes.  This is the cutest winter staple!  Could go with anything!  And so cheap.  I want it in all the colors, ha! ๐Ÿ˜‰

coat | cardigan | scarf | dress

I’ve always loved mixing jewel tones for fall and winter, and this golden, mustard yellow pleated dress (that hides allllllll the things… I swear a mom must work at Old Navy deciding where all the pleats should go, ha! ๐Ÿ˜‰) paired with a deep wine colored cardigan…YUM.  The coat is SO NICE, too.  Like I would never have thought it was this cheap.  Crazy.  The coat is a MEDIUM, the cardigan is a SMALL, the dress is a MEDIUM.  Perfect mixture of all the fall and winter tones.  Love this outfit!  Might need this for Christmas services!

jacket 1 | jacket 2 | plaid shirt | jeans

It’s the battle of the sherpa jackets!  I love the idea of a basic sherpa jacket, because it’s all the warmth without the bulk since it’s not also underneath a layer of puffy coat.  In Oklahoma, we don’t have frigid temps for very long, and I would rather get to wear minimal layers that provide maximum warmth, and sherpa does just that!

Jacket 1 is for sure oversized, and I am wearing the XS here.  Love the camel colored trim, big pockets and how it’s cut like a button down shirt with the side slits.  So different and WARM.

Jacket 2 is a bomber jacket style, and it has a silky lining and pockets as well.  Liked the thick ribbing at the wrists and waist, and it has such a cool vibe.  Wearing a MEDIUM here!

This button down shirt is too die, y’all.  The sooooftest button down I’ve ever worn!  Is it made of unicorn eyelashes?!  We’ll never know.  All I know is, it’s frickin’ soft, flowy and all the things.  Wearing a size SMALL here.  I also prefer a smaller print with this types of shirts, rather than large plaids.  I feel like the larger prints can sometimes make me look bigger than I actually am, and these more delicate, small prints catch my eye usually.

And….these skinnies.  They have a brushed interior for secret warmth without any added bulk!  Seriously feels like the lining of a soft sweatshirt inside these jeans, oh my word.  Wearing a FOUR here and they are adorable!

If there was ever a shirt for my Cotton Stem Buddies…..!  This is our motto, guys!  Wearing a size SMALL.  It’s too dang cute. โค๏ธ

cardigan | jeans | flats

This was the other oversized grey cardigan contender, and I loved the cable knit detail on this cozy, comfy sweater!  I’m wearing a MEDIUM here, and I thought it looked cute with these deep navy d’orsay style flats, which fit TTS.  I like sort of monochromatic looks with a pop of interest, and the soft greys, whites and pale denim all sort of creates that soft look with a punch of navy brought in with the cutie (and cheap!) flats!  Jeans and shoes fit TTS.

cardigan | shirt | flats

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this……  When I find a cut or style of a certain piece that I just LOVE, that I feel pretty wearing and that is a great price, many times I end up buying it in multiple colors.  The perfect piece doesn’t come around often, and so when it does, I get me some!!  ๐Ÿ˜‰  That’s how I ended up with three different colors of the same cardigan, two of the same shirt and two of the same shoe in my cart….๐Ÿ˜‚  Not all made it home with me, but man.  I love these pieces!

Here’s another way to style that oversized cardigan with the black and white version of the softest button down on earth plus some sassy little d’orsay flats in black and white!  Love mixing these patterns here, and it’s just a simple, comfy mommin’ outfit that’s totally in my wheelhouse….and on sale!!!

Cardigan in SMALL, button down in SMALL, flats fit true to size.

sweater | scarf | jeans

Last but not least, another option for a wine colored sweater is this raglan sleeve cutie, and I actually sized up to a LARGE for an oversized look (not a fan of super tight sweaters).  Love that I can front tuck it for a casual look, and the color is just so fall-y and yum.  ๐Ÿ˜  Paired it with a super duper soft blanket scarf and those crazy secret-soft brushed mid-rise skinny jeans.  (You can see more views of the sweater in my IG stories…didn’t get a pic without the scarf!)

Thanks for coming shopping with me, buddies!  I love love watching and reading my other blogger friends’ posts when they do these dressing room sessions, because they tell me all the style, fit and texture things…and I don’t even have to leave my house to do any work, ha!  Boom.  Hopefully this was helpful to you as you get in the holiday style spirit, and, until we can actually meet up for a girls’ day shopping trip, this is the next best thing.  ๐Ÿ˜‰
