Decor Capsule: a quick and easy guide to budget friendly decorating!

, , , ,

Hey friends!
Okay, I’m inviting you inside my head (scary…I know 😉) for a peek at how I go about decorating for the holidays and for the everyday! Sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming to think of completely redoing a space in our homes simply because the calendar says it’s time to put away pumpkins for Christmas trees or whatever the case may be. And I’m here to say: we DON’T have to completely redo everything all the time in order for our homes to feel fresh and ready for the upcoming season! Our home should bring us peace, right? Well, let’s aim to keep holiday decorating as peaceful and simple as can be with this decorating capsule guide I made for y’all!

Whatever project or area you are planning to decorate, I hope this handy dandy little worksheet will help walk you through the process, removing the guesswork and unnecessary spending along with it! By starting with what inspires us and zeroing in on our favorite colors for the season, we can get a mental picture of what we want our space to feel like and what the plan will entail. Next, we take a bit of inventory and shop our own homes first – always feels good to reuse and repurpose first! We’ll establish a budget for our project, focus on our favorite places to shop for home decor projects and even give ourselves a due date in order to finish the project in time to enjoy it before the holiday passes us by. With a plan of action in place, decorating for the holidays (or any day!) just got a whole lot easier!

Hope this is helpful, buddies, and feel free to click HERE to download a copy for the upcoming season!
