My girls love to scroll through Pinterest with me to get craft and DIY ideas, and you know what? For as long as they think it is the BEST THING EVER to do projects with Mom, I’m gonna make those projects happen! Love doing things with my girlies.

Today they made the cutest heart “balloons” after getting inspired scrolling Pinterest [come pin with us HERE], so they got to work cutting out a whole bunch of sweet little paper hearts in all the Valentine’s colors. The wonky hearts made by tiny hands got me in the feels. 😉💗 Since we are getting our walls painted soon, I had no reservations using a pencil to lightly trace a heart shape following spacing and sizing direction from the four little ladies, and then we taped their hearts into the larger heart shape to form “balloons.” Once they were finished, we added jute string to complete the effect!

This would be so cute for a picture backdrop for a birthday party or Valentine’s Day party! Loved their idea and loved crafting with my gals. And now…to clean up hundreds of tiny paper scraps scattered all over my floor, ha!
