Hey, buddies!
Thought it might be fun to take a walk down memory lane and show y’all what Christmas looked like last year in our home! I didn’t have a blog back then, and I’d love for those memories to live on here, my happy place. 😊 Very different vibe last year, and I can’t get enough of Christmas twinkle and magic….so why not take a scroll back to last year’s looks, eh?!
I was feeling a super natural, neutral vibe in our living room last year, and I used tons of lambs ear and eucalyptus for filler and garland, along with moss ball ornaments and wood slice garlands! Loved that tree.
For last year’s mantel decor, I made a little ribbon garland laced with twinkly lights to emulate the sort of drippy, rain washed look of this custom barn painting from one of my favorite artists, Elisabeth Neil. Simple, soft, and oh so farmhouse cottage up in here. Loved these baby flocked trees, too!
In the dining room, I did an all out Cotton Stem Christmas with a fully cotton-ed tree! This was such a fun room, and I loved the pops of red in here, too. Chippy, neutral, and the cotton stems were just about perfect for you know who. 😉
Kept things relatively simple in the bedroom back in the pre-hoop-wall days, he he. I was feelin the country Christmas vibes with some cutie pillows and pops of rustic and red!
The book wall got a touch of twinkle last year, too! Now that I think about it, where the heck are these treed this year….? I’ve lost some! Ha!
Probably my very favorite spot last year was this vintage corbels “Christmas tree”….I loved it so much! It was even better all lit up at night like a little chippy holiday happy. Out of the box a bit, but I kinda like living out there, you know? 😉
Okay, NOW things feel right. I needed last year’s Christmas fun to have a home on the ol’ bloggy, too, and now…it does! Maybe you can get some more holiday inspo from these pics, too! Can’t get enough of the cheer this time of year brings. And…I’m already getting sad thinking about taking this year’s cheer down in a few weeks! Do you guys get sad about that in advance too, or are you ready to rip down the Christmas clutter asap?!
Hugs, buddies!

Oh Erin – so pretty! I love the lambs ear poking out of the tree! 💯 as always
Thank you, Mary!!
Gorgeous photos! Thanks for sharing your last year’s decorations. Where did you get the tall lamps on either side of your corbel Christmas tree?
What a wonderful post. Memory lane, I love it.
I’m cherishing every minute of the holidays. My husband and I are getting ready to make some huge changes in our life. I know my time in my home here is limited so I’m soaking up every bit of it.
I hope you and your family have the best Christmas ever. 🎄🎁❄⛄🌲
Okay so you’re totally inspiring me with all this beauty everywhere! Did you change your bedroom paint color from gray to white? Also, do you have 4 tufted chairs in your bedroom, or move the 2 I can see for a better photo? It is such a pretty room!
Thanks for sharing the real you! ❤️
