Hey pals!
Per your request, here are a few fun holiday looks from Target for this fall that could be cute for a Thanksgiving dinner or holiday party with pals! Nothing too fancy for this comfy, casual gal, so I put together some looks that are both cozy AND a little dressier than my usual jeans and a tee shirt. 😉 All sources are affiliate linked below each outfit, and I hope this is helpful to those that were asking!
Gold/mustard pleated velvet skirt is SO PRETTY in person!! Could pair with plums, whites, creams and deeper golds….YUM. Wearing a medium. Paired this with a super soft white puff sleeve sweater and a faux leather jacket, both in size small.

Another comfy AND dressed up look for Thanksgiving dinner! Loving this deep plum skirt (M) together with a blush pink scalloped sweater (S) front tucked to define the waist. These colors speak to me this fall!

For casual yet structured look, this cozy wrap or surplice sweater (oversized – go down one size) paired with that faux leather jacket is a crisp, put together vibe for fall mommin.’ (The jeans are the ones I wore into the store from Madewell and fit true to size, and, since the dressing room gal wouldn’t let me take into the dressing room the shoes I picked from Target for each outfit, I popped back on my Madewell booties that fit TTS.)

This long sleeve denim dress (S) is comfortable and floats away from the body, and nothing says COZY like a cable knit, amiright?! Wearing a size small in the cardigan.

Talk about comfy disguised as dressed up…this marled grey fringed poncho (one size fits all) was one of my favorite finds! Here I have it with a pair of coated black denim (wearing 6 – needed the 4), and at home I’d wear it with my Spanx faux leather leggings. These furry black slides were a fun find, too!

Another casual look in all my favorite fall colors: a tunic plaid shirt (M) in blush and plum paired with a suuuuper soft gold/mustard yellow cardigan (M). These colors are my fave this year for fall!

One more comfy, casual look, because I just can’t quit my jeans and tee vibes. 😉 Mustard yellow plaid (S) worn unbuttoned to break up all the pattern is layered over a pretty little cami (M) and topped with a Madewell-esque plum-y red cardigan for all the Thanksgiving dinner feels!

Hope this was a fun little mom style tryon for fall and/or Thanksgiving get togethers! Thanks for the idea, buddies!

[…] variety of casual to slightly dressier, holiday-ready outfits. I’m teaming up with my friend Erin from Cotton Stem who is sharing some of the same items as well. She’s almost 5’9″, so she’s […]
This is such a fun post! Everything looks so much cuter on you than it does on their website. You style it all perfectly! Thanks for the inspiration!
Could you share the details on the bag and the madewell booties with me? Love!
That was fun to watch. I’m not close to the size you wear and I’m much older but I think I can pull some of those looks off. Plus it’s a great place to start a restyle to fit me ! Thanks Erin.
I love ALL of these looks but, I swear… a potato sack would look good on you!! Thanks for sharing these very pretty, economical, wardrobe ideas!!
Well, you are VERY KIND.
Beauty on a Budget!!!!
This is a very belated comment but wanted to say that I bought this velvet mustard skirt after seeing your post and actually wore it for Thanksgiving! I hosted and it was THE perfect skirt for the day (also loving the addition to my warm neutral winter “capsule”). Thank you so much for the recommendation!
