We finally hung something on the wall, hooray! It’s only taken 7 months, but here’s our first toe dip into decorating the new house: floating plant shelves! My plant-lady hobby started to take over every available flat surface, so it was time to find a solution. We asked the shelf builder to match them to the top of our window seats below, and I think they turned out to be a simple way to display my green babies and add dimension and interest to the blank walls. Trying to keep the mid-century modern vibe decor very, very simple here, and this feels natural and like “us.” What do you think?

You can click HERE to find 12 minimal, modern art prints like the ones on our mantle if you’re into this vibe. We bought the couches from Poly and Bark (we love them!), and the coffee table and grey chairs are from Article.

Love the look! Looks so bright and beautiful. You ARE a farmer, Erin!

Erin, these floating plant shelves look absolutely beautiful! It is the perfect way to get your green babies off the counters while adding so much natural dimension and life to that blank wall. The way they match the window seats is a gorgeous touch, and those Poly and Bark couches fit the clean, mid-century modern vibe perfectly.
When you’re relaxing on a beautiful sofa like that, scrolling through interior design blogs for inspiration or tuning into a live home-decorating or cozy gaming stream to wind down, the last thing you want is a sudden barrage of unskippable ads ruining your peaceful evening. To keep your online browsing and streaming experience just as clean and minimal as your living room decor, using a reliable twitch adblocker is an absolute lifesaver. It completely blocks intrusive commercial breaks and pop-ups, letting you enjoy your favorite live channels without any chaotic interruptions. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous new space—it’s definitely giving me some serious plant-lady motivation for my own walls!
