Thanks to you guys for sending in ideas over on my Instagram stories last week! I’m a little stumped on how to make over THIS old shed space for the girls to use as their playhouse, so I appreciated the help! I rounded up some of your playhouse design inspiration ideas along with some inspo photos to sort of get moving on a plan. Peek below and let me know which vibe you like the most, and maybe your idea ended up in the blog post! And be sure to click through the original source links — some very talented people featured in this post, and I love what they each did to personalize their kiddos’ spaces! 🙂

I love the cottage elements with touches of pink, and I also love the modern farmhouse vibes with those cool black and white tiles. We will probably not be stenciling the floor in there (see HERE for our first and quite possibly last stenciling endeavor, ha!), but that would look so cute in the girls’ shed! I need to narrow these fun ideas and make a plan for making over this space, and it feels nice to get the creative juices flowing again after a season of feeling a little stumped. Thanks for helping me get going, y’all!

All the ideas are so cute! I like the cute half-door (in pink!), the picnic table, the chalkboard wall, pretty little shutters, flouncy curtains, window flower boxes and twinkle lights. See? I like it all! haha. a porch seems cute too if you want to take the time/expense to add one. I also like the idea of a swing, whether outside or insie. I think I’d steer away from posh home’s breakable lanterns, but it’s still a cute idea. can’t wait to see the finished playhouse!
