Every year at the end of school, we have a tradition in our family where I swap out the kids’ backpacks, school supplies and coats in our hallway drop zone [HERE] for summer essentials! It’s such a fun way to mark the fact that we all survived another school year, and the girls love the surprise theme every year! This year, I went with unicorns as the theme, and dang…that unicorn sprinkler is way bigger than I thought it would be, ha! This is also a great time to replenish their outdoor toys from the previous year and outfit them with some fresh flip flops for summertime! Are your kiddos out of school where you live? We have been going since mid August, and I’ll tell ya what: we are ready for a break! It’s been such a weird time in our world, and virtual school is not for the faint of heart, I think.
